		<description>David is right.  If you were to charge for the same info though a membership or ebook more people would apply the info they paid for.  It is nice that you do not charge.</description>

People definitely value things more that they paid for. Robert Cialdini wrote about a lady who doubled the prices in her brick and mortar store and multiplied her sales by 10x just because people thought the quality of the products were higher due to the high price.</description>

		<description>Free information is the best way to gain trust but most people take it and just give up, blaming their failure on information overload. If they actually get motivated and set &#039;clear&#039; goals, then they will appreciate the free info but it is how you market and in what niche that will determine competition.</description>

		<description>I have to agree that not all will use the information, but even if they did, this market is so huge that you would not even put a dent in it. Another reason to give away useful information is to build a fan base and buld trust with your followers. You can give away free marketing PDF&#039;s or direct visiters to your informative articles.</description>
