Of course, every PPC marketer has their own routine in creating their own PPC campaign. Whether you are a newbie or a veteran, I think you should be following some routine in creating your campaign. Anyway, you can bend the routine anytime you want.

If you are reading forums, some will say that the most important part in creating a PPC campaign is the keyword research and you must put most of the time in researching and digging keywords that you will be using for your promotion.

If you are doing most of your time in researching keywords, I bet that you are searching for those that have not much competition so you can bid little. If you have heard the misspellings, maybe you have tried it before. But personally, I haven’t tried searching for misspelled keywords so I can’t predict on how powerful this technique is.

Now, I am changing my routine for creating my own campaign. Although the process is the same with others, maybe, the only difference is in the time allotted for each of the step.

Firstly, I will find a product to promote. It would take me for about 2 hours before I can find 1 product that I think worth of promoting.

Second, I’ll do the keyword research for about 1 hour or less.

Third, create a landing page for about an hour. I don’t have a great skill in crafting a landing page that’s why it would take me hours to create just for one page. If you can teach me, you may want to message me. hehehe…

Last but not the least; create the campaign for the product.

So that’s all. If noticed, when I am creating a campaign, I spent most of the time in product selection method.
