Holy Loop – Keyword Optimization Trick

Posted on 07 December 2008 by KantonFC

Do you use search engine to find the latest news? I do.

Before I put on this post, I searched for some current news using my favourite search engine. And click on some of the first page results and holy smoke, bloggers who are optimizing on certain keywords are on the first page of the page results. So I gave a try, maybe their post is really related on my search.

Ok, the post is somewhat related but it is related on how you are going to optimize your site on that keyword. So the blog gave me link like:

If want more information please follow the link “keyword anchor”.

And of course, I clicked it hoping to find what I really want.

After I landed to another page, it is a post related to optimizing the post regarding the keywords and gave me another link with variation of keyword anchor.

Wow! I found a new site, but the post is regarding in optimizing the post with the same keywords.

Well, I think this is the result of those bloggers who are optimizing a single post for a certain keywords to get substantial traffic and hoping that us, visitors, will click on their Adsense.

Hopefully, if these bloggers really want to hijack some traffic, will put a related post or give us a real link that will give us the real answer. Maybe that’s considerable.

Still I appreciate them for being creative.

Start copying their tactic now to start having flood of traffic.

I think SEO is all about being creative. It’s how you play the game. But of course, it’s also about bending the rules but not breaking them.

You’re right that SEO must put some creativity on it. I think, hijacking shouldn’t be abused because if this tactic is really being applied with “real creativity” the result will be useful. Just “imagine” what can you make from it from your site.:D

I think those guys are really smart, but I didn’t understand how that worked, So did those blogs have only keywords and no proper content?

I am sorry, I have no idea what he is talking about and I have been around the internet for quite some time. I think a few more examples would be helpful. Thx

Let’s say your blog is about “marketing” then the current event is “presidential election”. So instead of focusing on “marketing” topic only , you’ll be also optimizing one of your page from your site for the current events to get some traffic.

Hmmm. Arent top search engine companies suppose to be monitoring site contents? They say that the best way to have your page on top of their pages is to have unique quality contents. Oh well, Search Egine Optimization is already a multimillion dollar business so we cant stop them, I just hope that I will still continue to find quality contents if I do searches on search engines though.

Getting traffic to your blog, is only part of the game. Without decent content, you won’t get many repeated visitors, so having good content will ensure more traffic in the long run.

    Kuya!

    Remember me from kirbitz.blogspot.com? ;)

I think youre referring to pacquiao hatton fever? Yeah, tough as it may seem, they really are making quite big bucks from this one. After I came back from a year long hiatus from blogging, filipino bloggers have their way of “outsmarting” search engines. You see, i know i friend who cashed in Php87K just from adsense using this method. Google eventually removed the post (through blogger account) for the reason that she was doing copyright infringement.

Might be a good “come-by” SEO strategy but google will not tolerate it. That’s for sure. But still, she cashed in already so she’s really not into worried at all.

Online money making turns out to be an art these days.

A very lucrative one at that.

    @Kirbitz – Of course, I can still remember you…hehehe…

I’m not only refering to the topic you just mentioned, there’s more than that.

BTW, I thought I had “outsmart” Adsense when I was still using it, and you know what happened? BANNED…:D

Anyways, it seems that you don’t update your blog anymore and looks like you have another way in making cash online.

Certainly a very effective trick to use. But in the other hand it is also risky especially if you abuse it. People these days are really into earning online. Different strategies, styles and techniques. Keyword Optimization is probably the most efficient one when it comes to SEO.

It may be defined as a trick but if people would look deeper into it, it’s just as simple as being on the side of the popularity of certain words and topics. Abuse on this could be already defined as a trick. If you will be writing articles which are popularly searched is fine. But if every article of yours is in line with these popular searches, well that’s already a trick.

You are quite right, If your content is boring or worthless, nobody will return to your blog. I can not stand to do a google search and when I click on a link I get redirected to another site that does not interest me.These sneaky dirty tactics have no place in my book.
