I just started with affiliate marketing. My instinct tells me to go with higher priced items. It seems to me that it's going to take me the same amount of time and effort to learn SEO whether I bother with cheap items or go for expensive ones. It seems to me that if I learn how to get 100 people to visit my site a day and get 1 to buy, I'll make a lot more selling 1 item at 1000 dollars than 1 item at 19.99. I'm just saying.

Seems to me that selling anything in this economy is difficult for most people.

To sell you must be someone that people trust and who offers plenty of value.

Anybody serious about this business normally sells both low priced and high priced products in their affiliate sales funnel.
