Sometimes, I will see a lot of “unwelcomed” ads in my social media account. Do you?
Some will use Facebook to tag their friends in a photo, an advertisement photo, so the whole world connected to that tagged friend will see about the advertisement.
I’m not saying don’t do it, but maybe use it in moderation. I’m not too sure if their friend will like it.
Oh btw, I’m noticing that most of the advertisement are for those PTC, PTR, etc., programs. Although there are some products being advertised, most are for “earn-by-referring” programs.
I like the idea of creativity of these marketers, but if they can use this creativity in something like Adwords, SEO, or solicited marketing, I’m surely going to use it.
So do you think it’s a Black Hat kind of marketing tactics? Again, if you can remember my post regarding the SEO tactic who will hijack traffic; this kind of social media marketing can be considered as the same as that SEO tactic.
For sure there’s a way to do use this correctly, maybe there are some Gurus out there who can guide you using this technique. Maybe creating a page solely for advertising your product or program, I’m not sure as I have not tried it. But I’m sure there’s a “correct” way to do it.
Anyways, if you’re in a budget and really want to advertise in Facebook, you can use their paid advertisement service after you have earned from tagging your friends.
