Link Building Easily

Posted on 06 October 2007 by KantonFC

Are you still asking yourself what’s the use of link building? Or maybe asking yourself, will this help to generate traffic to your site?

Many SEO specialists and other webmasters who are optimizing their website know the value of links pointing to their site. Link building can’t be done overnight. Web owners put effort and time to increase links pointing to their site. Because of this time consuming part of search engine optimization, some website owners hire a company or an individual to do the link building process for their site. And not to say, if you outsourced the link building to someone, it would also take some time to increase backlinks pointing to your website.

So what’s the use of having links pointing to your site? Links can ve compared as a vote to your site. Every link that is pointing to your site can be seen by the search engine as a vote.

As of now, maybe you are planning to do link building, aren’t you? But be careful not to just create a bunch of links pointing to your site. Keep in mind the quality of links pointing to your site. For example, if a webpage contains a link pointing to your site it doesn’t mean that you are getting quality links. Why?

There’s a lot of factors that may affect the quality of links pointing to your site.

1. Pagerank of the “webpage”.
2. Anchor text.
3. Number of outgoing links.
4. Location of link in site structure.
5. Follow and noFollow tag.

The first you may want to do is to find an appropriate website that is the same as your niche. For example, “web design”, find a website that is mainly focus on the “web design” theme. To find this kind of websites, use the search engine and type in the key phrase that you are competing with and try to email the webmaster of those websites that appears on the first page of the search engine result.

Another strategy if you are in a competition, is to search for a keyword or keyphrase that you are competing, then take note of those websites that are listed on the first page of the search engine result. After you have listed all these websites (competitors), try to do some research for those sites that are linking to your competitors and email those webmasters and try to have an exchange link with them.

Again, link building is an ongoing process for optimizing your website popularity and search engine ranking. Few hours every week is an advantage if you will be alotting this for link building.

Are you familiar with selling text links and advertising text links?

For a publisher who owns a “Blog” or a “Website”, you can earn with site buy selling a space from you web page. Meaning you’re going to put sponsored links to your site and those site owners are going to pay you to let their “small text links” be advertised within your site for a period of time.

The price of the “text link ads” may vary depending on where the links will be put on. For example, the link ads will be put at the bottom of the page or on the top of the page. If the link will be put on the place where attract more readers, the price for the link will be higher. Another factor that affects is the count of links to be published within your site. Selling 10 links will be priced lower compared to selling only 4 links but your pay will be higher compared to selling few ads.

Instant Traffic - Exchange Traffic

Posted on 23 August 2007 by KantonFC

There’s a lot of different ways to generate traffic visiting to your site, the question is, are they frequent visitors or possible customers?

If you search Google for exchange traffic, there will be an overwhelming results for the query you have just made. You wouldn’t know which one is legitimate or SCAM.

Traffic exchange is a good traffic generator, the traffic visiting your site depends on how much time you spend on surfing other’s website. Although you can get as much as traffic you like, there’s a question whether they have an interest to browsing to your site.

Most likely, the traffic you can get with these traffic exchange websites are those visitors who’s only interest is just to earn credits so there will be more exchanged traffic visiting their site.

I’m not telling they don’t work, actually they do work, follow your intuition on how you can make them work. Maybe you can get a higher ranking in Alexa if you get more traffic, maybe a higher position in some search engines.

Try to make your website appealing in just a glance, or make an immediate impression to make a traffic exchanger give more time reading your site. Or think of something that you can get from them just for a few seconds of visiting your site, eg. Subscribe form, using this strategy, you will know that the guy who subscribe to your site is interested with your product, it just happen that there’s not much time to browse your site.

If you just want to gain some exposure try using them, by the way did I say they are Free?

SPAM - Are you one of them?

Posted on 23 August 2007 by KantonFC

Before, I tried to use SPAMMING strategies to get visits to my site, and yes they tend to visit the site but that’s all. Most of the time if you use SPAM email to reach your customers, the email you have sent to will be straight to inbox, SPAM inbox.

If you really want to use email strategies, don’t buy email from internet or do an email SPAM. Have you newsletter form ready for them to fill up, so at least you know that those people who have registered are your targeted visitors and can convert to a potential customers.

As far as I am concern, there’s one guy who was jailed just because of spamming emails. So be careful if you really want to try this black hat strategy.

Now, the SPAM TECHNOLOGY has evolved and there’s a lot of different ways for you to try them. Just say no to this technology. Using this techniques won’t last long, it’s just like view and go. The visitor’s will view your site, and because it’s not their interest, they will go.
