Where do your money goes?

Posted on 10 September 2010 by KantonFC

Such a powerful question. Isn’t it? Well, maybe if you don’t know where your expenses goes.

Do you know how which part of your campaigns is eating most part of the pie?

If not, then I think it’s time for you to dig your records to discover the truth…hehehe…

Anyways, when I started affiliate marketing, I didn’t have a record nor tracker to see where I spend the most. But after few months, I decided to track all the expenses and income using a spreadsheet; which I think does its job.

Now that you’re doing Internet Marketing, I suggest that you should track all the those cash flows even if it’s not as accurate as those financial gurus and you will be surprised on what you will discover.

Btw, after I checked my records, I discovered that most of my expenses goes to…

Well, you should know the answer.

Clue?

It’s on Advertising. I’m not too surprised.:D

Marketing Books vs Gurus’ eBooks

Posted on 30 June 2010 by KantonFC

Let’s make this post as short as possible. I’m a fan of reading those eBooks that so-called gurus are releasing every now and then.

Last few weeks, I decided to buy a bunch of marketing books, yes! hard bound books, to update my knowledge about marketing. And to my surprise, all the techniques that you might read in all those eBooks can be found in a single hard bound book.

Well, the information that you’ll get from reading “guru’s” eBooks are something like the “application” of the theories you’ll get from those paperback books.

So if you think you have the imagination on how to apply the principles laid down in those paperbacks, then go ahead and buy one of the best selling marketing book. Btw, these paperback books are way much cheaper compared to those Guru’s eBooks.

Motivation and Affiliate Marketing

Posted on 14 March 2010 by KantonFC

Sometimes, you’ll feel like something is nothing is happening with your hard work to earn money using affiliate marketing. I do feel it sometimes.

But when I remembered that story from “Think and Grow rich 3 feet from gold”, it gives a boost. Try to search and read it. If possible, internalize it.

Another good thing to do is to talk to those who are doing the same things as you do, eg., affiliate marketing, SEO, online business, etc..

Just for example, when I surrounded myself with career people, they have really different mindset. And when I immersed myself with them, I noticed that my mindset slowly fading from a business mindset and that’s not what I want.

So if you want your mindset to be like of those who are in generating income by making those income work for you, you surround yourself with like minded people. Although, those kind of people are difficult to find.

Maybe reading books will also help, but sharing with someone who have the same interest is still my choice.

So start with books, watch movies that you think will boost your motivation with your journey in this field.

Why Let Them Learn Affiliate Marketing?

Posted on 16 January 2009 by KantonFC

Some people asked me why I do give my techniques I’m using in affiliate marketing for free. Am I asking for more competition in internet marketing? What do you think?

The answer is simple.

Not all people are going to do what they just learned. They will have mental debate whether all the things they just read are for real. So even I gave out all the techniques I’m doing, maybe only 20% of those will be doing it.

And of course, things that people get for free are being perceived as no value. How’s that? So am I really giving away the information?

So how would you know whether the information you collected is for real? Just try it, whether it’s from a guru or from this learn affiliate marketing blog. Okies?
